Easter is almost here, so it’s time to start reading bunny books! I recently came across a delightful one by Lisa Jahn-Clough. Felicity and Cordelia: A Tale of Two Bunnies tells the story of two friends who are very different. Felicity is an adventuress who decides to see the world in a hot-air balloon! But Cordelia is a worrier who prefers to stay close to home. Despite their differences, though, the two bunnies are the best of friends and manage to find common ground -- especially through their shared love of pie!



Felicity and Cordelia shows children that friends don’t have to be carbon copies to love each other. Our differences make us interesting, and our friends’ strengths can counteract our weaknesses (and vice versa). I also love the sweet and colorful illustrations by the author. This book would make a delightful Easter gift for your child or a teacher’s book collection!
